Meet the Founding Dog
Gracie started all of this.
Before there was a shop, a club, or even a Willowmere, there was Gracie—the real dog whose spirit reminds us what matters: a favorite toy, a good walk, somebody waiting when you get home, and perhaps a little peanut butter.
The Good Dog Club is our way of carrying that feeling forward: making everyday life with a dog feel a little more special.
“The best things in life are usually simple—and very often waiting by the door.”

Duck’s Official Rules for Good Dogs
- Never waste a perfectly good walk.
- Always investigate suspicious sandwiches.
- Welcome new dogs like old friends.
- Share something good whenever you can.
- Duck is not technically a dog. This has not stopped him from joining the leadership team.
Dog has chosen not to argue with Rule Five.

A good shop should leave something good behind.
When Willowmere runs a Good Dogs Do Good campaign, we will tell you exactly what it supports and report the impact honestly. No vague promises—just a simple idea: when this community grows, some of that good should travel beyond the order.
See How Willowmere Gives Back →Our promise is simple: clear campaigns, honest updates and real stories about the dogs and communities helped along the way.
